On behalf of Hayat Homes, Shaukat Hayat and Sana Jahangir are honored to host the 6th Annual Community Sehar & Calgary Food Bank Drive.
What began as a local gathering in 2019 has grown into a cornerstone community event. As we enter our sixth year, our purpose remains the same: to come together for Sehar, honour the spirit of Ramadan, and extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

At the heart of Community Sehar is the belief that faith is expressed through service. This year, we are proud to once again integrate the Calgary Food Bank Drive directly into our Sehar gathering.
By encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable food items, we turn gratitude into action and collective reflection into meaningful support for vulnerable families across Calgary. Through this shared effort, Community Sehar has helped collect thousands of pounds of food over the years.
